Occupational Health, Safety and the Environment are our top priorities. For this reason, the Directors and all employees of PT. Star Specialty Chemicals Indonesia is committed to developing, establishing and implementing an Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) in accordance with applicable regulations.
In an effort to realize these goals, PT. Star Specialty Chemicals Indonesia sets the following Occupational Safety and Health Policies:
1. Star Specialty Chemicals Indonesia as a chemical producer company in carrying out its activities is very concerned about the quality of life of all employees, customers and the community and the surrounding environment
2. Comply with and apply the Regulations, Government Regulations, OHSAS 18001: 2007, and other requirements in accordance with the company's business environment
3. Commit to implementing the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (K3)
4. Prevent and minimize workplace accidents, occupational diseases and environmental pollution
5. Star Specialty Chemicals Indonesia guarantees employee competency enhancement and is entitled to Work Safety and Health (K3) protection and labor insurance including occupational diseases
6. Always pay attention and maintain the conditions of the workplace and its environment so as to create a safe, comfortable situation, and compliance with applicable occupational safety and health (K3) regulatory requirements.
7. Management of PT. Star Specialty Chemicals Indonesia fulfills, evaluates and repairs regularly and continuously, so that the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) program can be improved in the future.
